CHECK!

Today I organised all my documents into a folder ready for my move. I printed off all the information I had gathered online since I found out about my placement along with extra passport photos, my Spanish sim card, my European Health Insurance Card and my International Youth Card that I had ordered for £9 a few weeks before.

I've kept a Spanish Sim Card that I had bought last year on my holiday in Malaga, I'm hoping that when I arrive in Spain it will work as it did before and I won't have to go to the phone shop to buy a new one. I'd found as much information possible regarding my NIE number, including a language guide to filling in the form and addition Spanish vocab that I will need when applying for it. I did the same for opening a Spanish bank account, researched the best bank for me as well as Spanish vocabulary that I will need.

As well as the documents I compiled a small list of things that I shouldn't forget. After spending an ERASMUS year in Italy; Blue Tac, Self Adhesive Hooks and Earplugs have become some what of a necessity to me when spending a lot of time abroad. Blue Tac was impossible to find in Italy and the sticky hooks came in useful for hanging up jewellery etc. In Italy I lived next door to a Church that rang its bells every two hours so Earplugs were a god send and I recommend them to anyone moving abroad.
